Horses & Mounts

Golden carrots and apples are disabled. You can breed horses, donkeys and mules with a special hay bales instead (the horses must be tamed to breed). The horse hay bale is made of 8 wheat and 1 carrot cf /recipes.

Ice roads are banned in the rules.

You can create paths to increase mounts speed instead:

  • Gravel increase horse, donkey and mule speed by 10% in wilderness & 20% in towns and roads.
  • Suspicious gravel increase horse, donkey and mule speed by 30% in wilderness & 60% in towns and roads.
  • Sand slow down horse, donkey and mule by 30% but increase camel speed by 20%.
  • Suspicious sand make camels faster by 20% in wilderness & 40% in towns and roads.

Suspicious gravel & sand can be craft by adding stone & sandstone to gravel & sand respectively. Check blocks recipes ingame /recipes.

The road speed bonus will not work in combat.

Horse & Camel stats have been changed:

  • Heal point: 15 to 30 without herdsman. Up to 40 with herdsman.
  • Speed: 4.86 m/s to 14.57 m/s without herdsman. Up to 17 m/s with herdsman.
  • Jump: 1.4 to 1.9 blocks high (A fence height)

Hitting other players or mobs with a horse does trample damage to the players or mobs if your riding fast enough.
