=======Creating Armour=======

**To create armour, you need: **

- Cast Iron/Hot Cast Iron

- Steel/Hot Steel

- An Anvil

- Iron Ingots

- Flint n Steel

- Tongs

**Depending on the type of armour you want to make, you also may need these following resources:**

- Flax/Flax Bundles (Obtained from farming)

- Magnetite (diamonds)

**There are three types of armour in MVDNI:** (Crafted in a __Smithing Table__)
- Light Armour (Flax or Partial Chainmail)
- Medium Armour (Chainmail or half-plate)
- Heavy Armour (Full-Plate)

**There are also two types of helmets:** (Crafted in a __Crafting Table__, use the command /recipes to see how to craft them)
- Light Helmet (Iron)
- Heavy Helmet (steel)

Each of these armour types have different stats, weight, and costs.
**Helmets** are crafted in the **__Crafting Table__**, while **Armour** must be crafted in a **__Smithing Table__**

**In order to make these different armour types, you also need to create different intermediate items, these are:**
- Flax Bundles (Craftable, do /recipies)
- Chainmail ([[crafting_chainmail|]]) 
- Armour Plate ([[creating_armour|]])

Many of the different armour types will require many of these intermediate items, so remember to stockpile on steel and cast iron so you can craft the armour you want

Once you obtain these intermediate items, simply go to the "Armour" or "Helmet" section when using /recipes, and follow the crafting recipe in either a **Smithing Table** or a **Crafting Table**
