//**Quality**// //There are two things that decide the **Quality** of a weapon in MVDNI, **Stars** and **Base Quality**// //**Base Quality**// **Base Quality** is a base stat on any Armour plate/Weapon head that is determined on three factors: 1. Tier of Blacksmithing Minigame 2. Speed of hitting the white circles 3. Accuracy of hitting the white circles There are **4** different **Base Qualities** that will determine the stats of the piece of equipment it is created into. Each quality removes a certain amount off a weapon's **Base Stat**. Every weapon also has a **Base Multiplier** Starting from a value of 1. **- Terrible** Removes 50% **- Poor** Removes 30% **- Fine** Removes 30% **- Good** Removes 10% **- Excellent** Removes 0% So for example, a **Good** quality **Halberd (base damage of 11)** will result in the Halberd only dealing 10 damage Note: For swords, the multiplier depends on only the weapon, while for armour, the multiplier is averaged between all armour plates used to craft the piece of armour. **//Stars//** **The amount of stars on a Armour Plate/Weapon head also contributes to the multiplier, and can be gained by choosing a higher difficulty in the blacksmithing minigame** The amount of stars is also displayed from a value of 1 at apprentice difficulty. Each star **increases the multiplier of a weapon by 10%**, up to a **maximum of 4 stars** So an Excellent quality Halberd with 4 stars would have a base stat of 11, and have a multiplier of 1.3, resulting in a 14 damage Halberd being created as a result.
